I’d like to invite everyone to a Parent Council meeting to be held on Tuesday 1st October at 2pm. Everyone is most welcome.
For all new parents and to remind everyone else, the Parent Council is a chance for you to get your voice heard about our school. We really need parents to be involved and participating in helping their children to learn so that we can become an even better school. In the past we have expressed our opinions about school reports, questionnaires, cookery lessons in school, e-safety and newsletters.
Our Parent Council has also been used as part of a case study in a Parent Participation Handbook.
On this terms agenda we will be looking at our new cookery book, ideas for getting parents involved with their children’s learning and thought about Eid. Also we will be checking whether there are any more questions you’d like to see on the questionnaires.
Of course there will also be time for any issues that you, the parents and carers, have and any suggestions for how we can be an even better school.
Please try to make time to come – cakes and tea are on offer!
